Good Friday: History, Prayer and Significance One of the most important festivals observed by Christians all over the world is Good Friday. It is a solemn day mourning the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. Also known as Great Friday, Holy Friday or Black Friday, many Christians spend the day fasting as it is a day of mourning and penance. This year, it falls on March 30. According to Gospel, Christ was found guilty of proclaiming himself to be the King of Jews. Rajasthan Diwas celebrated on 30 March

Rajasthan Diwas celebrated on 30 March to mark coming into being of State of Rajasthan. Rajasthan Diwas was celebrated on 30 March marking the unification of the erstwhile princely states in the region into the State of Rajasthan. Weeklong celebrations was started to mark Rajasthan Diwas in 2011. On the occasion of Rajasthan Diwas, Times Music got together in Jodhpur a melange of artistes to the launch of music album Padharo Mhare Desh by Manisha A Agrawal. On 30th March 1949 the grand unification of the erstwhile princely states of Rajputana giving birth to Rajasthan state in the Union of India had taken place. Since then, 30th March is celebrated as Rajasthan Diwas every year. Rajasthan Diwas is celebrated every year with an aim to showcase Rajasthan’s culture & heritage and revive the traditional sports, cuisines and folk-art. Dear friends The summer heat is expected to go beyond 40-45  degree First and foremost have 5 gulps of cool water every 30 minutes to avoid dehydration and energy drain due to summer heat. 1. Please have a early breakfast before it starts to get hot. Have regular breakfast. Avoid spicy or oily stuff Have a light lunch if the temperature soars up. Fruits are best.
